Digication is happy to announce our latest feature, the “Make A Copy” function.  Located in the Portfolio Tools drop-down menu, this feature allows the user to copy an entire e-Portfolio as is.

Why it’s useful

You can copy an e-Portfolio to make changes to it and provide different user access.  This is great for tailoring your e-Portfolio to fit a certain style for different audiences, such as transforming a program e-Portfolio into a career e-Portfolio.  You can also cater your professional e-Portfolio to different employment opportunities, like you would your résumé.

How it works

Simply navigate to the e-Portfolio you wish to copy, click on the “Portfolio Tools” drop-down menu, and click “Make a Copy.”  Digication will prompt you to name the new portfolio and give it a unique URL.  The page will re-direct you to the copied e-Portfolio, and you’ll see the following message: “Welcome to your new portfolio! Your portfolio has been copied. You can still access your original portfolio by clicking e-Portfolios, and then My e-Portfolios.”

Voila!  Your copied e-Portfolio is ready to be taken in whichever direction you wish.
