Digication Partners with Blackboard

Digication offers LTI integration with the Blackboard Learning Management System.

This plug-and-play integration provides the following functionality, including the ability to launch/access ePortfolio from LMS Blackboard through LTI 1.3/Advantage integration available Fall 2023:

• Single sign-on access to Digication from within the LMS
• Course roster in the LMS can be imported into Digication
• Grades posted in Digication can be automatically posted to the LMS grade book
• Instructors can create and share ePortfolio templates with the students in the course.
• Students can create ePortfolios using templates shared by their instructors or any Digication templates they can access.
• Instructors and students can view ePortfolios shared with the course.

Digication Integrates with Canvas LMS

Digication also offers both LTI-based integration and SSO capability with the Canvas Learning Management System.

This partnership grants seamless access to the Digication dashboard within a course in Canvas.

ePortfolios and other resources could easily be shared with a wider audience, as Digication can recognize users and provide access to their resources within their familiar environment.

Digication Integration with Moodle LMS

Digication provides an LTI-based integration with Moodle.

This standard integration extends the ePortfolio and artifacts collection functionalities of the Digication platform to your courses on Moodle. The setup instructions are pretty straightforward.

Access Digication from Brightspace

You can create and access Digication from the  course environment on the D2L Brightspace LMS.

Digication offers LTI integration with Brightspace providing the following functionality including the ability to launch/access ePortfolio from LMS. LTI 1.3/Advantage integration available Summer 2023:

• Single sign-on access to Digication is available from within the LMS.
• The Course roster in the LMS can be imported into Digication.
• Grades posted in Digication can be automatically posted to the LMS grade book.
• Instructors can create and share ePortfolio templates with the students in the course.
• Students can create ePortfolios using templates shared by their instructors or any Digication templates that they can access.
• Instructors and students can view ePortfolios shared with the course.

Digication supports Shibboleth's (SAML 2.0) authentication

Schools intent on Single-Sign-On (SSO) capabilities can do so with Shibboleth, provided they have the necessary configuration information.

A keygen script can then be created to automatically import user and identity data.

The option to access Digication directly via SSO in addition to LTI integrations will come in handy where some ePortfolio implementations may not be connected with course-based activities.

As a Service Provider member of the InCommon Federation, Digication makes it easy for Identity Providers to grant their users single sign-on convenience and privacy protection through InCommon

With InCommon, Online Service Providers can also control access to their protected resources.
